if "fade into you" was Mazzy Star's only recorded work, she would be on my all time list... but after hearing what her other tracks had to offer I was amazed that most of her songs sound exactly the same.
From now on I will take my formerly prolific songwriting more seriously and also go by that "you should read a thousand pages for every paragraph you write" or something similar.

i'll explain later
Tommorow will be my last day at Sam Ash, which will clear up alot of time and reduce my income by $200 a week....
The drums for morning star and laborers of man are done, along with some bass - tommorow the labors will do guitar then i have to go to work 5 - 9 for the last time ... but then the weekend starts and that's when i deliver pizzas and play in bands -
fast foward to jan 12 - 15 ::: i have to dedicate the majority of two of those days to john miles so we can finish that project (we've been an inch away from "finishing" it for the last three months and I'm fucking sick of it and so is he)
one of those nights will be an extra standmedown practice cause we have a show on the 17th - (our first show since summer)
at least one of those afternoons should be for morning star so ryan can record some guitar
labors of man need a day or two to do more bass and more guitar and hopefully more drums (only five of seven were nailed last time, and two of them weren't even nailed perse)
if jim shows up to bipolar bear practice on saturday i'm gonna set up a shitty live recording thing so we can see what we sound like - i want to throw together a three song demo so we can start getting it out to the people
oh and if anyone knows any drummers who want to play heavy shit, let me know cause the drummer for standmedown doesn't even like heavy stuff anymore....
so anyway i'm devoting my life to music... at least for the next six months
